How do you know if your in love?

i've been with this guy for almost 2 yrs and we hav a perfect relationship. He's my first true relationship but i've had others and i never felt this way for anyone else. I feel like he's my soul mate and when im with him i always get jittery and happy. But sometimes when im away from him an i see a cute guy i get these feelings. Like i want to flirt and i start thinking about what it would be like if i were with him. Im very happy with my current boyfriend but im having a hard time knowing whether or not it really love.My boyfriend says he gets butterflies in his stomach when he's with me but ive never had that. I would even know what that feels like. Sometimes i don't know what i feel inside. And im really confussed. but i do now that i want to be with him for the rest of my life. And i care about him alot and don't want to loose him. But im afraid if im doubting my feelings now i might fall out of love in the future. Is it okay to doubt your feelings and be unsure of your relationship. im only 17 so i think that plays a role because were both young.How do you know if your in love?
At a young age, it is hard to figure out your true feelings. Think about the reasons why you love him. If the first thing that comes to mind is his looks, then it probably isn't true love. Perhaps the reason of why you are wanting to flirt with other guys is that the relationship has become boring in some way, he feels more like a friend, or you could be afraid of commitment. Also, as you get older, your interests will change and you may find that the two of you want different things. You have your entire life ahead of you and most people go through many relationships before they find their true love. But, if you love him because of his personality and because you two have the same interests, then it could be true love.How do you know if your in love?
At your age what you are feeling is not uncommon. The saying has always gone, It's ok to look as long as you don't touch. It doesn't hurt to fantasize about others, as long as you don't act upon it. If you truly believe that you have met your soul mate, stick with it, especially if he says he gets butterflies. You don't have to get them, because you have your own way of feeling for him.
You can not imagine what your life would be like without that other person. You don't feel totally whole without them in your life. I don't think your are really in love. It sounds like he is more of a good friend to you.
you'll know if your in love if at night you cant fall asleep cuz reality is finally better than your dreams.
