Is really interested or just using me?

This is really long, just a warning, but thanks to anyone who can help out! :)





So there's this guy i've been involved with in the past. It didn't work out well, but its all a little confusing. The first time we started up it ended by him just not talking to me anymore because he thought that my ex and I had hooked up at a party one night. The next time i saw him, he apologized for being a jerk and asked for another chance, so i gave it to him. We hooked up the entire summer pretty much, he finally asked me out like 2 weeks before I left for my freshman year of college. We were ';together'; for 3 days, when he decided to talk to me and realized he didn't think things through before asking me out, since we were both going to different colleges 3 hours away from each other. So we stopped talking to each other, but he said that if we start talking again when we come home for breaks and if we still really like each other then we know we can be together. I hadn't seen him for a year and i finally left him a comment on facebook to say happy birthday. I didn't think anything would come of it, but he started talking to me again and basically telling me how he still likes me. At this point, i was in a relationship with someone else but i had been planning on breaking up with him for a while...I broke up with him, and started hanging out with the other guy almost every day. He would text me and always seem interested in wanting to talk to me. We had sex, and it seems like he doesn't really like me anymore...I know thats where I messed up I just don't know what to think from here. He'll still talk to me and stuff he's just not near as sweet as he was before. I finally asked him if something was wrong and he said no, and that i was being ';goofy'; and that sometimes he has nothing to say. So the past two times i've hung out with him, he has tried to have sex but i stopped him both times. It just seemed like he got really pissed after wards and didn't want anything to do with me. And he always wants me to be the first person to initiate a conversation...I dont know why. And i know the last serious relationship he was ever really in he got cheated on because they went to two different schools, I just dont understand if he's afraid to start something, or if he simply just wants to get laid. It's especially difficult though when hes sitting there telling me he wants to be in a relationship with me, but doesn't show it. Oh, and now we are both home commuting to our schools, so we only live 5 minutes away from each other...and the other thing is that he always brings up my ex...whenever i look at my phone hes like oh is that your boyfriend? and i keep telling him we already broke up...it just seems like he doesn't believe me.


Is he just trying to play hard to get, or what?

It sounds like he might be using you...... in the beginning i think he was interested but now im sorry he sounds like he is using you
