How did you tell your [baby's daddy] you were pregnant...?

This could get fun... Simply stated in the question: Tell how you told your boyfriend/husband/significant other/etc that you were pregnant, what was his reaction and how did you find out yourself you were pregnant?

I am 21 weeks pregnant with a baby boy, I told my boyfriend of 2 years the night we found out I was pregnant. That night (Feb. 20-21) we were going to have a small party, or get together, with a few of our friends, we were going to drink and have a good time. While the boys were at the storw buying beer and such, I told my two friends I was a day late on my period (I was on YAZ birth control) and told then my period always comes on the same pill, same day, and on top of that I ahad a feeling like I wasn't supposed to drink. When the boys got back we sayed we were hungry and left to go eat'; when we really went to get a prego test. I took on in the bathroom of mcdonalds and it was a +/- test... it came out +... but we wanted the word ones just to be sure. SO i took a digital on in the bathroom of Walmart.. It said PREGNANT. So now to tell my man?! When we got back the boys were playing cards aound the table, one of the boys joked about us getting pregnant and I looked at my friend with the ';wow how ironic look and on cue threw the prego tests on the table... my boyfriend had been drinking and looked at then and looked at me.. all the boys were like'; oh my god...'; and left to go outside and let us talk. I remember my boyfriend saying ';I am trying os hard ot be be mad, but I can't help but smile'; %26lt;3 Now we can't wait to meet our son!

Well with #2, it was 7am and I just woke up and took a pregnancy test and it said ';Pregnant';. I was naked and about to get into the shower but when I saw the test said pregnant I ran, butt naked, and showed him the test and I was crying. I kinda freaked out LOL.How did you tell your [baby's daddy] you were pregnant...?

HAHAHAHAHA my mom just heard that. Wait, you're pregnant?

I found out through an ultrasound to see if I had fibroids.





I found out there were twins.





My boy was in the other room, and they called him in.





He thought he was getting punked.





I was like, no seriously..





lol





He cracked up laughing until he realized we were having twins.





Then he cried for about a week haha.





Now hes a great daddy. :)
I had actually been drinking all day at the beach with my best friend the day I found out I was pregnant... We were pretty trashed actually and my period wasn't even due for 2 days but I had really sore boobs and I just kept saying I thought I might be pregnant.. well my best friend convinced me to go ahead and buy a tset so we went to Wal-Greens and bought one then walked across the street to Publix to take the test (b/c there are no bathrooms in wal-greens apparently)... I was really expecting it to say ';not pregnant'; so you can imagine my shock when my best friend gasped really loud and said ';OMFG YOU'RE PREGNANT!';...


So needless to say we stopped taking shots for the day lol... but I called my fiance and just said ';So.. I took a pregnancy test... and it said I'm pregnant.';





And that was basically it!


Now we can't wait to meet our son either! We're so excited!
Well, I had the feeling I missed my period (19yrs old) I wasn't feeling good, and decided to take a pregnancy test. I was at my boyfriends house ,(%26lt;--- 26yrs old) , I took the test and it was positive! I was pregnant!. I told my boyfriend and he looked at me all wide eyed!! Then he called his best friend up and his friend said'; Your going to be a father!!!'; and he said in response,'; Well! your going to be an uncle!';. Afterward we went to his room to talk and both were in shock, happy, excited, scared! all at the same time! lol. That happened in October 2008 and we've been together for 3 years =)





Im 39 weeks now! due June 27 2009, its been a long journey since then lol!
We were trying and had been for a few months and I honsetly thought I was getting my period bc I had all the symptoms. Well my niece was staying the night and she woke me up at like 6:30 bc she was grinding her teeth in her sleep (ewwww) so I went in the bathroom trying to find something to do so I took a test sat it on the counter and started doing my hair and plucking my eyebrows that kinda stuff all the while the test is just sitting there reading PREGNANT as I was leaving the bathroom to try and go back to sleep I went to sweep it into the trash and noticed what it said so I told my husband the most obvious way I ran in the room jumped on top of him on the bed with a huge smile and threw the test in his hand of course hes like 90% asleep and kept saying what what is it what does it say the only thing I could say was do you really think i'd be in here if it was negative. Very Exciting!!! I then went to the store and bought bibs and onsies that said I love Grandpa and I love Grandma and wrapped them and took them to our parents :)
It was a week after my 21st bday. I only had 4 drinks total that whole week cuz I jus felt weird. I told my fianc茅 and he said to wait til I was due for my period and we'd test. So on November 16th, 2008 we went to a QT gas station and I took the test in the bathroom. He waited outside the door. We weren't planning for a baby so we were both terrified. Then popped up a very faint light pink line. I was pregnant. I came out crying cuz I was scared that I hurt the baby with those 4 drinks. He held me and told me we'd be ok and our family was going to be perfect. Now we're very anxiously waiting for our son, Colin, to make his grand entrance into the world, even though we still have about 5 weeks to go!
I am 23 weeks pregnant. We were not trying to have a baby and we were using 2 forms of birth control. I was feeling off for about a week, but it wasn't the usual pregnancy symptoms so it didn't even cross my mind. I had a horrible day at work...I felt awful an I knew that something was not right. I called my doctors office (ironically, it was the one day a week they stay open late) to make an appointment and they said they had a cancellation and that they could get me in that day. I ended up leaving work half an hour early so I could make the appointment and called my partner to tell him that I was heading over to the clinic so I was going to be home late. I told my doctor my symptoms and he was like ';something is just not adding up'; so he had me pee in a cup. A short time later, he came back in and said ';well, there is nothing wrong with you. Congrats you are pregnant!'; Needless to say, I was in shock. I knew that my period was late, but sometimes it happens when I am stressed out so I did not really think anything of it.





Anyways, I ended up sitting in the office for 45 minutes trying to let the information I was just given to sink in. Then I sat in the truck for a little while longer trying to figure out a way to tell my partner. Once I got home (and because it was quite late, my bf was pretty worried...I guess I should have called). He asked me how everything went at the doctors. I told him ';well, I don't have a flu or a stomach bug'; and he was like ';that's great';...and then I said ';it's something that is a little more permanent, it is going to last the next 9 months';. He said ';OMG. you're pregnant??!!';. He sat there for a moment and excused himself because he just needed to get outside and let everything sinck in. He then came back in and gave me a huge hug and said ';she/he may not have been planned, but she/he is ours now and we are going to be fine.'; I started to cry and then he started to cry and now we are waiting for the birth of our little girl :)
One of our favorite places to eat dinner serves ';on your honor'; wine (you tell them at the end of the meal how many glasses you poured yourself) and has paper tableclothes with crayons. After I found out, I called him to meet me there. He thought we were meeting there to celebrate and drink lots of wine. Before he got there I wrote ';Congratulations, you're going to be a daddy'; on the tablecloth. All the servers couldn't wait to see the look ok his face. That night was the first time I saw him cry! He was so happy. He had called so many of his friends and family even before we were done with dinner. I saved a photo of the tablecloth for the baby book. Our son is now 12 weeks old and the love of our life!

Im 37 weeks pregnant today,


when i found out i was about 8 weeks,





Well, i thought that i couldnt have kids because it had never happened before when i tried, i new i was meant to be a mom and it never happened and i would get so upset, anyways we had moved no notice to arkansas, and we were there for maybe a month and i thought my period was thrown off because of moving and being around my cousin cause they say that it can do that, so anyways a while after being i had a wierd period that lasted about 3 days and boom it quit, and i took a pregnancy test only because my cousin thought she was pregnant and the test that i took came back inconclusive, it didnt come back negative, or positive so i was like ok you know so i waited and took another one days later and it was negative, well we moved into are own apartment, and my 18th birthday came around and we did it alot that day, and i was suppost to start soon after that but i never did but i thought im not gonna start thinking im pregnant because everytime i do that when i start, so i waited didnt come and i was like well it will it will, cause sometimes i was late, anyway we decided to move back to my home town in Il. and we moved in with my mom intell we got are own apartment, we were still living at my moms and i noticed one day while looking in the mirror i think my boobs look different lol, and so i was like ok you no whatever its probably nothing, well i never started and never started so i was like ok, and so me and my bf went to get a test at the dollar store, went home went to the bathroom looked at it and it said negative, at first there so i was like ok i will wait a couple more mins and i set on the floor. mean while my bf was talking to my brother on the phone, and i got up off the floor looked and i was like OMG theres the lightest close one eye and you can see it ANOTHER LINE, and i went out and i was like theres two lines im pregnant im pregnant, and then he told my brother, and we went to pick up my mom from work, and she came home and looked at the test and was like i dont know i cant really see the line lol, so i ended up taking 4 more test before she was like yep you are lol, and now we are 3 weeks from seeing are baby girl,,i cant wait, and wow that was a long story..lmao
well I had been suspecting that I was pregnant when I started having dull cramping a lil over a week before my period was due and 5 days before it was due I started spotting. I told him about it and said how weird would it be if I was pregnant ( I get the depo shot) and he goes you could be but who knows. Well I had scheduled a doctors appointment and the day of the appointment I went ahead and purchased a test that morning....before I even peed( do you know how hard it was to hold in my morning pee!?? I was bursting ) haha anyway I took the test and it said pregnant....later that day at the office it was confirmed and i came home and he goes so how was the appointment....is everything fine? I took him into the room and we sat on the bed and he goes whats up.....my heart fluttered and raced like crazy and then i said it '; I'm pregnant'; haahh the look on his face was priceless
